Please observe special preanalytical conditions. | Antibiotics, proton pump inhibitors and drugs containing bismuth suppress the growth of H. pylori. The test may therefore be performed no earlier than 4 weeks after discontinuation of proton pump inhibitors, of bismuth preparations and of antibiotics. Follow-up of eradication should be undertaken no earlier than 4 weeks after completion of therapy. | Fasting sample (6h abstinence).
