Responsibility
Responsibility doesn’t end with analyses
Fewer trips. Consistently implemented
Transport routes are consolidated to ensure reliable delivery of samples to Viollier.
Sample collection, goods delivery and infectious medical waste disposal are combined in a single journey.
This avoids empty runs and reduces transport-related emissions without compromising sample safety or diagnostic quality.
Transport by effect, not habit
Wherever possible, bicycles and trains are used. Where motorised vehicles are required, low-emission vehicles are used.
This combination is effective
In logistics, transport-related CO₂ emissions have been demonstrably reduced.
Savings in 2025:
394,168 kg CO₂, corresponding to around 157,667 litres of crude oil.
Sustainability is measured – not claimed.
Energy with verifiable origins
The continuous optimisation of building technology, cooling and lighting further reduces energy consumption – without compromising on quality, safety or availability.
Cycles instead of waste
Consumables are checked regularly; reusable systems are used where appropriate.
Materials from the laboratory, packaging and transport are separated and recycled.
The aim is not to manage waste, but to reduce its generation.
Reduction before offsetting
Responsibility is not outsourced. It starts where emissions can be avoided before they occur.
This is why the focus is on avoiding emissions rather than offsetting at a later date.
Responsibility extends beyond reports.
Environmentally friendly. Systemic. Action-oriented.
Certainty. At your side.
